Another MissionI have not missed one of this series since Fern Michaels started writing them。 I got an e-mail today saying a new one was out and I had to buy it and started reading from beginning to end。 Now I have to wait another year for the next one。

Not a lot of plot and not much suspense

Well this was an interesting read。 I feel like had I read any of the previous books （as this is number 34） I might have enjoyed this more。 While it’s absolutely possible to read this as a standalone （I did and the main story was not hard to follow）， I do feel that having the backgrounds for each of the characters would have been a benefit in the enjoyment of the overall story。 This one starts with enough backstory to provide context for the events that unfold throughout the rest of the book。 It’ Well this was an interesting read。 I feel like had I read any of the previous books （as this is number 34） I might have enjoyed this more。 While it’s absolutely possible to read this as a standalone （I did and the main story was not hard to follow）， I do feel that having the backgrounds for each of the characters would have been a benefit in the enjoyment of the overall story。 This one starts with enough backstory to provide context for the events that unfold throughout the rest of the book。 It’s clear that the characters are connected to each other and appear to be pretty important but there’s not enough to share why。 This caused me to really struggle with the little details in this story。 The little details are the things that tend to irk me the most when reading books。 They’re the things many overlook but I just can’t let go of。 In this case， it really does feel like had I not started here these little details would have been explained。 I enjoy long series like this。 I really do。 I’m eventually going to go back and read this complete series to get the entire backstory and see if my opinion changes。 Thanks to NetGalley and Recorded Books for the opportunity to listen to the audio version of this one！ Since it’s told in multiple POV， I do wish that there had been multiple narrators but the singular one used did a fantastic job。 Overall as a stand-alone I’m giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 。。。more

I thought that this was a standalone novel。 Unfortunately， it was not the case。 There are plenty of books in this series！So at the beginning I was very confused。 There were quite a number of characters to keep track of！ The storyline was a little confusing for me to follow but I think this is due to my lack of knowledgement！ I would suggest to read the whole series in order to enjoy this story！Thank you #NetGalley #RB Media， Recorded Books for this Audiobook

I found this book a bit hard to get into and I am quite the fan of most of the Sisterhood series。 I did find the beginning to be a bit confusing。 With all of the villains and the story going back and forth between them and the victim。 Although I do have to give the author points for coming at this story from a different angle than usual。 Maggie did make me smile with her always hungry， endlessly empty stomach。 And I did enjoy Libby who was introduced into the story on the side of The Sisterhood。 I found this book a bit hard to get into and I am quite the fan of most of the Sisterhood series。 I did find the beginning to be a bit confusing。 With all of the villains and the story going back and forth between them and the victim。 Although I do have to give the author points for coming at this story from a different angle than usual。 Maggie did make me smile with her always hungry， endlessly empty stomach。 And I did enjoy Libby who was introduced into the story on the side of The Sisterhood。 Maybe she will be included in some future stories。   It took a while for the story to get more interesting to me but when it took off， I enjoyed it more。 So although I liked this story， it wasn't quite a favorite for me。The ending was good in the justice type sense that The Sisterhood gals dishes out。 I did like that they handed out punishments after interrogating the men and clueless Leroy didn't get the worst of the punishments。 They looked at the people， case by case。 I do have to say the man that deserved the harshest punishment， got it。 That last one might make you cringe a bit。 " I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book， and this is my honest opinion about it。  。。。more

I couldn't put down my Kindle。 A definite must read！！When four convicts are released from a prison in Arkansas， they each go their separate ways with jobs to do to carry out a large plan that started while the men were each serving their time。 It all started out with Eric when he started paying a former NFL inmate， Bennie， for his protection。 Eric was sent to jail because he was caught stealing from his clients in a scam that took most people's life savings。 He has $5 million dollars hidden away at a bank in the Cayman Islands so he can leave the US forever。 Bennie is in jail for the possession and selling of child pornography。 Leroy is a dimwit who got arrested in a robbery gone stupid。 He's supposed to fly to the Cayman Islands to retrieve the hidden money。 And then there's Darius， the one everyone stayed away from in prison， he latched onto the three other guys， and decided to include himself and get his own revenge at the same time。 Truth was， all of them are afraid of his moods。 He got caught trying to break into a bank vault via the coffee shop next door using an explosive device。 No one but Darius knows about his plans of revenge。 Eric is paying each guy $50 thousand dollars to do their job and then they will go their separate ways。 When Myra starts pulling on her pearls more often than usual， Charles immediately tunes into his wife's "gut feeling" that something bad is coming。 Never one to question a woman's intuition， Charles checks in with the Sisters， but encounters a problem immediately with the computers。 Charles calls Fergus， Annie's partner and tells him that someone hacked into the Sisterhood's computer system。 Not even the CIA can break down those firewalls。 Jack and his wife， Nikki， （Myra and Charles' adopted daughter） drove up the coast the night before for a much needed vacation。 Their first morning there， they decide to explore the town。 Nikki gets to the car first and when she opens up the trunk， the car blows up throwing Nikki to the ground。 She's rushed to the ER and Nikki is in a coma due to bleeding and swelling of her brain。Meanwhile， Charles has Harry texting the Sisters what happened to Nikki， cautioning them not to use their usual means of communication。 Charles and Myra are trying to get on the road while trying to get the best medical services for their girl。 With their computer guru out of town， Izzie has a fellow computer genius， Libby， fly out to the farm on Annie's plane to help them out。 Charles has Nikki and Jack airlifted to the closest/best neuroscience hospital where Myra， Annie， Fergus， Charles， and Jack refuse to leave Nikki's bedside until she wakes up。 In the mean time， they figure out who is behind this and why。Jack's computer was hacked first， which was how whomever did this knew where they were staying。 After Charles makes some calls to an old friend working at Scotland Yard， the Sisters start looking at Jack's old cases and who might want revenge。 With the help of Jack's old assistant， the girls find out about an inmate who was released recently and they start digging。 It turns out that Jack was the Federal prosecutor several years ago for Darius' trial and his office wanted to make an example of his sentencing; it wasn't a pat on the wrist like Darius expected。 So Darius went after Jack first， but was furious when he found out that the victim was Jack's wife instead。 Darius' second part on his plan for revenge was a bomb for his public defender who lived in Austin， TX。 When Fergus spoke to the Warden of the prison， he found out about all 4 men being tight and the Sisters stepped in from there。Meanwhile， Leroy flew to the Islands and nothing went as planned。 The bank required 3 days to check out the letter he had to release the funds。 But now that the Sisters knew what was going on， Annie called the owner of the bank and told him not to release the money at all。 At this point， the other guys were getting antsy without their money， because they were all relying on those funds。Now its time for the Sisters to get payback for one of their own， Nikki still hasn't woken up， and the doctors aren't sure whether or not she will。 Myra is in Mama Bear mode， none of the women have ever seen her like this before。 These men will wish that they were dead when the Sisters are done deciding their fate。 A fabulous read！！！ 。。。more

I didn't realize this was part of a series when I requested the audiobook from Netgalley。 The author did a great job filling in the back story so I didn't feel lost。 Definitely not a lot of depth to the characters， the dialog was very repetitive and I rolled my eyes at the narrator's voice and articulation。 Needless to say， I don't plan on delving into anymore books in the series。 I didn't realize this was part of a series when I requested the audiobook from Netgalley。 The author did a great job filling in the back story so I didn't feel lost。 Definitely not a lot of depth to the characters， the dialog was very repetitive and I rolled my eyes at the narrator's voice and articulation。 Needless to say， I don't plan on delving into anymore books in the series。 。。。more

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review。 I did not realize this book was part of a large series of books when I first started the book which made the book difficult to follow at points as I didn’t have the background information on the characters。 Overall the book was enjoyable enough because the story itself was compelling。 I loved how the sisterhood all looked out for each other and worked together to solve the crime。

This was okay。 It would probably be better if I had read all the ones previous to this one。 I was so confused in the beginning with the introduction of so many characters and with the audiobook version， it was hard to keep up with which character we were on at any given time。 I like the idea but this was just too confusing and too much content to enjoy。 Thank you NetGalley for the ARC。

Just finished ARC of Tick Tock by Fern Michael's。Being the 34th in the series and the 1st/only one I've read it was tough as there is little connecting background to all the women's stories。 The short chapters are not my favorite writing style which is why I don't often read this author。 That being said it was a fun romp with an amazing ending and I often laughed aloud， esp as I got to the resolution。 Appreciate receiving this ARC from Between The Chapters @BTC_Books。 Just finished ARC of Tick Tock by Fern Michael's。Being the 34th in the series and the 1st/only one I've read it was tough as there is little connecting background to all the women's stories。 The short chapters are not my favorite writing style which is why I don't often read this author。 That being said it was a fun romp with an amazing ending and I often laughed aloud， esp as I got to the resolution。 Appreciate receiving this ARC from Between The Chapters @BTC_Books。 。。。more

ARC audiobook provided in exchange for an honest review。 I have never read the other books in this series， fair warning， but still enjoyed the plot regardless。 I wasn’t the biggest fan of the narrators voice， it felt like an older woman to me， which worked for the more mature characters， but not so much for the younger ones in my opinion。 I would still recommend and check out of books by this author as I enjoyed the plot and character interaction。

Thank you to Netgalley， Kenningston Books and the author。 This is a Mystery Suspense， and this is the 34th book in the Sisterhood series。 I have to admit this was my first foray into the Sisterhood series。 There was enough information here for me to get an idea of the personality of all of the characters， but there is definitely a lot if background and history on the characters that I missed by not reading the series in order。 The books are based on a small group of women who decide that when th Thank you to Netgalley， Kenningston Books and the author。 This is a Mystery Suspense， and this is the 34th book in the Sisterhood series。 I have to admit this was my first foray into the Sisterhood series。 There was enough information here for me to get an idea of the personality of all of the characters， but there is definitely a lot if background and history on the characters that I missed by not reading the series in order。 The books are based on a small group of women who decide that when the judicial system is unable to serve up justice， they will take matters into their own hands。 Joining their efforts are various friends and significant others。 The group is lead by best friends Myra and Annie， who as an heiress and a countess have the means to fund the group's activities。 A fast read with the sisters of the brotherhood on the move to take down。 The men who hurt Nikki in an accident when she and Jack were going on Vacation。。 The men wanted revenge for being put in jail years ago by theBrotherhood。 They tampered with the computers and security of the Sisterhood and now must be brought to justice。 Another enjoyable tale and not as harsh as those in the past。 One for one and one for all。 An enjoyable series of strong women standing up for themselves。 I enjoyed it although it is confusing at times with the flipping back and forth and I think reading the series would be essential in order to get the "Background" on the characters。 。。。more

This was a very average book for me - it wasn't good， but it also wasn't bad。I enjoyed the storyline， of women coming together to go after the men who hurt one of their own， but everything seemed to fall into place too easily。While I was under the impression that the books in this series can be read as standalones， which technically they can be， but I felt like I was missing a lot of the backstory throughout。 There were also a lot of characters that were introduced at the same time and I found i This was a very average book for me - it wasn't good， but it also wasn't bad。I enjoyed the storyline， of women coming together to go after the men who hurt one of their own， but everything seemed to fall into place too easily。While I was under the impression that the books in this series can be read as standalones， which technically they can be， but I felt like I was missing a lot of the backstory throughout。 There were also a lot of characters that were introduced at the same time and I found it hard to keep them straight and remember who was who。 The characters also didn't seem to develop much throughout the story - it's almost like the author figured them out in earlier books， and now they're just continuing to go on various missions / adventures。However， the book was very well written - my one gripe with the writing was how repetitive the conversations were。 I understand that with such a large cast of characters， each one joining the plot will need to be updated on the goings-on in the story， but I would have appreciated having a summarising statement like "x character updated y character on that morning's events" or something similar， instead of having the same conversation four or five times in the same chapter。But overall， the plot was very intriguing， and the audiobook narration was good。 I would read more from this author， but I think it's worth reading the series in order。Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an advance copy of the audiobook。 。。。more
